Abstract

Automobiles are one of the main contributors to climate change. We propose an enhanced Advanced Cruise Control (ACC) system that leverages Reinforcement Learning (RL) using location and terrain data along with onboard sensors and cameras to provide better driving characteristics and improve fuel economy.
